We have recently opened a joint exhibition with Wadjar Regional Indigenous Gallery and the Armidale and Region Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place.
Although Covid-19 restrictions have changed our plans for an official opening, the works are now on display in the gallery.
Here is a taste of what is is on show.

Boundaries 2Leo Leeko Wright – Boundaries – Acrylic on canvas 76 x 61cm

“Aboriginal people knew their boundaries. They weren’t marked by lines on a map but by the features of the landscape – by the ridges, the rivers and the creeks.
The people knew that hunting was only allowed within these boundaries.”

rex 2Rex Winston-Walford – Thumbprint – Acrylic on canvas – 120 x 90cm

“This artwork is inspired by my own fingerprint. The unique pattern it creates which is exclusive to me; it plays a large part in my identity as it does with everybody else.”
